A Note from Dr. Jenkins
I work collaboratively with you, respecting your unique values and beliefs, to create solutions that are practical and that align with your values and circumstances. My approach to therapy is integrative, which means that I use evidence-based treatments to best meet your needs. While I primarily use Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I also draw from other modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), positive psychology, and mindfulness.
Based in Simcoe County, I am proud to offer services to individuals in Barrie, Orillia, Midland, Bradford, Innisfil, and surrounding areas. I do not offer virtual services as I believe that in-person services provide a greater level of comfort to those who are suffering. However, I am committed to providing accessible and compassionate care tailored to your needs and can arrange for wheelchair access if necessary.
Together, we’ll create a personalized path toward healing and growth, empowering you to move forward with resilience and confidence. Let’s take the first step toward improving your mental health and enhancing your quality of life.
