Dr. Jenkins is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, licensed to work with children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive experience in community-based mental health, working with first responders with chronic exposure to traumas, as well as with children and youth who have experienced complex developmental trauma and a range of developmental disorders. As well, Dr. Jenkins has provided mental health services, including assessment and psychological therapy to the broader community generally for issues such as depression, anxiety, and life stress. She has additionally served in a number of teaching roles, including contract faculty in the Department of Psychology, York University, and she has been the invited guest speaker on topics such as neurodevelopmental trauma and suicide. Currently, Dr. Jenkins serves as the staff psychologist at a large hospital in Simcoe County.
